The plywood base for Gerber and Proberta has been screwed down to the joists and splice plates added.
The full size plans were used in cutting splice plates to avoid having them obstruct Tortoise installations. Some of the plywood was actual 3/4″ while most was 23/32″. Drywall mud will be used to level joints.
My brother sent me a photo of our actual house located at 3000′ above Paradise, CA. The snow is 5′ deep and more predicted. After 50 years of living in the house I designed and built, glad to be free of the sometimes harsh winters.
