After a two week vacation, I was back for just 5 days and had an emergency trip to the West Coast. Then came down with bronchitis. After over 6 weeks, finally back to work on the layout. Saturday, our division had a make and take of a laser cut speeder shed.
I’d been so busy just building the layout that I hadn’t constructed any structures in over 4 years! Dug out Bar Mills “The Barn at Jackson Corners” and started on it while watching the news.
All the needed bracing was added, then a light driftwood wash (Hunter’s Stain) was used, followed by dry brushing 2 shades of red using acrylics. A final 50% wash of Hunter’s Westside Red was applied.
The walls are now ready for construction.
